With the break-neck transmission speeds of today's networks, designing systems that meet current speeds, yet offer a pathway to next-generation equipment, can be a real challenge. To offer designers flexibility for the future, Fujitsu Components America has introduced its high-density, high-speed differential microGiGaCN™ connector series. These connectors comply with with InfiniBand®, 10G CX4 Ethernet, and 10G Fiber Channel requirements while meeting the needs of other high-speed applications. This connector family supports data transfer rates up to 5 GB/sec (2.5GHz) with less than 3% forward crosstalk at 100 pico second pulse-rise time (4 pairs switching). Fujitsu also supplies microSD, Compact PCI, SCSI II and III, PCMCIA, USB, DIMM, Compact Flash and stacking connector products.

Fixed-head thermal printers for 2", 3" and 4" paper widths are available in 24VDC and battery-operated power models. These are high-quality, long-life mechanisms capable of printing both text and graphics. Paper cutters, interface/driver boards and interface cable assemblies are available. Fujitsu now also offers a thermal printer sub-assembly that also includes a sheet metal chassis to support the mechanism/cutter and driver board and to carry a large capacity roll of thermal paper.
